Educational School Overview

    The Education School of Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University (GPNU) was established in 2007, which is a secondary institution combining scientific research with teaching, its predecessor was higher vocational research institute. The school bears the responsibility fortraining high-level and teachers with double certificates for the vocational academy and undertakes teaching and scientific research work of vocational and technical education and higher education. At the beginning of 2006, vocational and technical education of the school was authorized to recruit and cultivate graduate students after considerations at the 22nd conference by Degree Committee of the State Couincil.In 2007, the school was authorized to set up undergraduate specialty of pre-school educationafter the approval of Ministry of Education.In 2007，the school gained one of the key subjects which was supported by Guangdong Province, which is called “Vocational and technical Education”, which was an important step for the promotion of the school. Therefore, the school had formed a subject structure pattern which majored in postgraduates’ education and relying on the basis of undergraduates’ teaching.
