Scientific research

    The Institute of Higher Vocational Education, founded in 1995, has brought profound academic impact on Guangdong province for years. Its key fields of research lie in advanced vocational education, secondary vocational education, polytechnic normal education, general higher education etc.In recent years, the Institute has been taking charge of a series of national and provincial level research projects, such as, The Study in the Development of Manufacturing Majors in Vocational School of Perl river Delta, The Research in the Training of Rural Labor force Transferring etc. Meanwhile, abundant research papers of the institute have been adopted by many authoritative publications and distinguished publications, reprinted in full and indexed by Xinhua Digest of People’s University of China, and many of them have been embodied by varied educational websites. Besides, more than ten works have been published, such as, an Introduction to Contemporary Educational Skills, Vocational Education, VocationalEducational Psychology etc. Quite a lot of research work in the institute has been in the domestic lead in the areas of advanced and secondary vocational education and polytechnic normal education.The school strives for more innovation of mechanism: setting up department of pre-school education and psychology, courses of higher educational institute, and the institute of education; establishing research laboratories of advanced vocational education, secondary vocational education, postgraduate education, vocational education and vocational psychology respectively.Besides, Secretariat of Guangdong higher vocational educational seminar has been settled in Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University (GPNU), due to the fact that GPNU is chair of this seminar.
